With Father’s day quickly approaching it’s always a struggle to decide what to get out of the ordinary chocolate, or tools. Why not break the habit of predictable gifts, and stop by GumDrops? Here are a few rain proof gift ideas:
If your dad is anything like mine, he needs a heavy duty boot! If that’s the case, I would recommend a nice pair of Bogs. Bogs have some great “manly-man” qualities, apart from just being waterproof. Bogs have excellent durability, AND keeps your foot warm to -30F!! Who isn’t impressed by that? On the topic of bogs, why not complete the set with a “daddy and me” combo, and get your little one some Bogs to match?
Perhaps Dad is more of a puddle jumper, than the ultimate outdoors-man? If that’s the case, why not suit in a Sunice jacket? These jackets are great, because they’re waterproof and they look great! These jackets are breathable, light weight, seam sealed and come with a 3 year warranty. Dad’s love warranties.
There are plenty of other great father’s day gifts in store including umbrellas and bags! Stop by the store, or visit our website for more.
What will you be doing this Father’s day?

hi Kathryn,
Frankly I use a lot my Hunter during the rainy days, however i feel almost unique. I am from Milan, leaving in Portland OR so I discovered from my own experienceI need a pair of nice rain boots!!! Ilove my HUnter even if I think they have their best show worn by women. Hunter are so stylish and I think they are best roaming in town and for a casual fancy way of dressing.
Sometime I think I shock people when I am crossing puddles walking, they probably have seen a man wearing rain boots for the first time…well too bad for their wet feet!!! I hope I come and visit you sometime…I want to see your shop, I compliment for your idea of Gumboots shop in the NW seems so easy to think we needed but you startes…
