Love is in the Air
Valentines Day. Some may cringe at the word, some may rejoice. Personally, I have always had a soft spot for Valentines day because I am an Aquarius and my birthday has always been synonymous with pink, gifts, hearts, flowers, kisses and love, which really what kind of little girl could complain about seeing all that stuff around her birthday? So this Pre-Valentines day I thought I would channel my love for Valentines day into a “Lovely” window display. I have to admit it was nice not to have to think of a theme…all I really needed was flowers, red and pink fabric, some creativity and a few of Kathryn’s art skills to draw me various paper hearts (because you don’t even want to know how bad my drawing skills are…we have a Microsoft Paint doodle of mine to prove it…trust me its just weird.)
So the window is up and ready to be viewed by all of you guys! And I have to say it may have an overwhelming amount of colour, but I can’t help but feel happy and optimistic when I look at it, which is a nice scenic change from all the bolded red SALE! signs in every store window. So as you see other stores change with the season, feel free to stop on in and maybe look for something for a loved one. Because although its commonly referred to as just a lovers holiday..it is NOT!!! Valentines day is too celebrate love for anyone, so if you have a special loved one, sibling, niece or nephew, parents or just a good friend, don’t be afraid to show them that love! And if you so choose to give them some rain boots from us, feel free to give or send us a little love too!
